WebHouz started with a simple frustration: too many agencies shipping slow, bloated websites built on page builders and decade-old themes. We knew there was a better way — so we built a studio around it.
Our Story
Born from frustration with the status quo
Before WebHouz, we spent years working inside agencies — the kind that charge premium prices for WordPress installs with fifteen plugins and a purchased theme. The sites were slow, fragile, and almost impossible for clients to maintain without paying for every tiny change.
We started asking ourselves: what if we built websites the way modern software teams build products? What if we used the same frameworks powering the fastest apps on the internet — Next.js, React, Tailwind — and applied that to small and medium businesses in Australia?
That question became WebHouz. We're a deliberately small team of senior developers based in Australia. No account managers, no junior handoffs, no outsourced dev shops. When you work with us, you're talking directly to the person writing the code.
